| 1915 | Mildred Hillard Mildred Atlantis Hillard was born in Eau Claire, Pennsylvania on October 19, 1896 and came to Sebastopol in 1906 with her parents. After graduating from Spring Hill Grammar School in 1911, she attended Analy where she graduated in 1915. On October 14, 1915 she married Frank Lorenzo Fellers and they had four children. Frank owned the Sebastopol Garage also known as the Fellers & Hillard Garage on the east corner of South Main Street and Burnett Street. In the early 1940's, they moved to Fresno and then returned to Sebastopol in 1956. They were very active in the Sebastopol Methodist Church. Frank opened another automotive repair shop behind the Thompson Costa Cleaners. Frank went on to become Mayor of Sebastopol and 'Fellers Lane' was named in his memory. Mildred died on April 28, 1992 at a rest home in Santa Rosa. |
