June Hillard

June Margaret Hillard was born in Sebastopol on December 6, 1921. She graduated from Analy in 1939. She graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College and then from San Jose State College in 1949 with an A.B. Degree and an Elementary Teaching Credential. She married Barney Anthony Kukolsky on September 20, 1947. The had no children. June started teaching school in a one room school house in Sonoma County. She then taught in the San Jose Unified School District, Cupertino School District, and spent fourteen years as a third grade teacher for the Campbell Elementary School District. She also spent five years at the Santa Clara Unified School District as the Cafeteria Coordinator for the District. Barney taught Electronics and Electricity for twenty years at Santa Clara High School. In 1976, they retired and moved to Paradise, California. In 1985, June and Barney moved to Hawaii. On July 13, 1998, June died in Honolulu, Hawaii.
